NUTRITION – Applying the 5 element theory

Join our guest teacher Kimberly Ashton for an introduction to 5 Element Nutrition based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

The 5 elements of Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal are found in all of nature, in seasons, cycles and also reflected in our body through our organ systems, personality, emotions, health and constitution.

The 5 Elements can also be applied to nutrition & food from the perspective that food is energy and information. Food has functional properties for our cells, blood, organs, tissues, muscles, and Qi or life force.
