Our Reformer Pilates classes use both traditional and contemporary methods, on resistance-based machines. Our classes are designed to tone, balance and strengthen. We target deep postural muscles, improving core stability to support the spine. You’ll begin lying down on the Reformer and move through seated, kneeling and standing exercises, using the major muscle groups. Each class will take you from isolation to integration, as you flow from simple to complex movements to rebuild and reenergise body. Our passionate teachers are the best in their field and small class sizes (max 10) mean that every student receives personal attention within the dynamic environment of a group class.

PILATES JUMP

A fast-paced Reformer workout that keeps your heart rate up while building and toning your body as only Pilates can. The teachers will weave cardio intervals into the class and put special emphasis on the Reformer’s jump board and or energetic movement to keep students energised from start to finish.

PILATES STRETCH

This class will improve the range of motion in your joints and muscles, promoting easier movement and functional mobility. Stretching increases the blood flow throughout your body which helps to reduce injury risk and efficiently deliver nutrients to all parts of your body. In this class we use an advanced form of stretching using the Reformer to help you stretch deeper and longer!

Pilates Stretch

PILATES BEGINNER

This class is perfect if you are a beginner to Pilates Reformer or would like to focus and work on your technique. It is a slower paced class and is suitable for all levels of fitness including beginners and pre/postnatal. Our beginner classes are geared to help you become familiar with the exercises, teach you the basics and build your confidence.

how to book

It’s really quite simple! 

  1. Go to the timetable and find the class you wish to attend.
  2. Click on the 'BOOK' button.
  3. Follow the prompts to create an account with us!

Once you create an account with us, you’ll also get an email from Mindbody to set up an account with them. We suggest that you keep the same username and password so it’s easy to remember! This then activates your account and allows you to book via our website or the Mindbody App!

WHAT TO BRING

Bring your lovely self first and foremost! We encourage you to bring a reformer mat or towel to place on the reformer bed and don’t forget your pilates socks – the ones with some grip! If you’re on the hunt for a reformer mat or some socks you can purchase these from the studio. A water bottle is always a good idea too for those times you work up a sweat! 

Sounding good? Mmmmm – here’s the thing there is one catch. Can you live without your phone for an hour? We do ask that you please switch them off and leave them in the lockers provided. Trust us, you’ll be thanking us after an hour of uninterrupted bliss!

WHAT TO EXPECT

When you come to us you can expect that we will look after you. You don’t need to be bendy, strong or own a designer pair of leggings to come to us. We embrace all walks of life and ultimately the most important thing is you come with a good attitude and smile. If it’s your first time to pilates reformer we recommend starting with our Pilates Start classes and letting your teacher know that you are new. It’s good for us to know so we can guide you in the class particularly if you have any injuries.
