Spend time tuning into the needs of your body and of your rapidly growing baby. Our prenatal yoga classes combine gentle stretching and strengthening, breath awareness, relaxation, meditation and labour preparation. They also offer a safe space where expecting mothers can share their experiences with one another. You will be encouraged to tap into your vast inner resources, learning to create a conscious connection with your body and breath that facilitates greater clarity, peace and acceptance. Practicing prenatal yoga will give you the strength and courage to navigate the changes your body undergoes through pregnancy and prepare you for the birth of your baby and the incredible changes that motherhood will bring.

Wondering when to start?

If you already have a consistent yoga practice, you are welcome to start the prenatal yoga classes at any time. However, if you are new to yoga we recommend waiting until your 13th week before commencing. It is best to start as early as you can in your second trimester.

Bring your lovely self first and foremost! If you have your own mat and towel, we do encourage you to bring it. However, if this is not possible or if you do forget, mats, blocks and bolsters will be available for you to use at the studio. A water bottle is always a good idea too!
